Well I had 3 hatch out of the 5..the 2 were formed but must have not liked the lockdown?! they are sooo calm compared to the silkies haha.

Depends on how many hatch from this batch! Got 12 on the ground, 12 or 13 pipping, 2 zipping, and one was breach and drowned

In all, not bad so far! I will keep everyone posted. Got 2 pics attached here, but if you look on youtube find the handle suzanneshawesq, it's the very first one hatching. Almost 10 minutes but a great video!

Those are the prettiest eggs I've ever seen! Looks like there should be chocolate inside haha!

It's been a crazy week here...so many posts to catch up on. I see lots of silkie talk so I had to go get better pics of all my new babies.

heres my 3 newest ameraucaunas

my partridge silkies (All 5 toes are so fuzzy)

not sure who is who here I have a B/S egg and my porcelain....blue on left..Porcelain on right?!

My lavenders...the one on the rights 4th &5th toe are fused and it looks as if there might be 2 toenails on one toe. One on the left has pink toes on bottom.

and my white (all 5 toes are mega fuzzy) and my paint

I love my catdance silkies and am debating ordering more like you Delisha...over the summer. That will be a true test of my hatching abilities haha if I can do better with these shipped little buggers! Can't complain much it was one of those weird 60* winter days when they shipped here... Well back to my crazy week I go! Good luck with all the hatching babies out there! can't wait to see pics.

Woo hoo now we get to compare notes...I think if we just keep ordering from her and posting what we do...together we can get a effective hatch plan that works with her eggs! Good luck can't wait to see how many are fertile!

Oh those babies are SOOOO cute! I put the eggs in the bator late last night. Humidity with just a tiny bit of water was 40%, temp 99.5 - 100. Did the first turn this morning ( I turn by hand). I let them sit on the counter for about 14 hours. Didn't feel the need to go longer as the aircells were all intact! Like your Catdance plan! After taking care of all the chicken kids this morning in my pajamas (normal for me), I decided it was time to slow down on the hatching ! I have 3 coops going (I need to integrate 2 of them), a brooder and the incubator! It is practically a full time job!

Couldn' t be happier though!! I am blessed....

The eggs finally arrived and are in the bator!!!! I may have also snuck a few of my eggs in there as well, you know to fill up the bator and increase my hatch chances, or at least that is what I will tell my husband when he asks.

13 BLRW eggs that I had shipped and 6 of my red star crossed with 1 of 2 roos, a RIR/Polish and a Polish/Orpington.
