I hatched out 28 Friday and Saturday during the day. I put them down stairs Saturday late afternoon and hatched out one with two eggs pipped. I woke up to one out and finished a little while ago.

31 set-31 hatched
These were my eggs gathered for 4 days.


I have 60 chicks in there..good thing it is 8 foot long.

I can't believe how fast the chicks get feathers!! They have distinct primary feathers and starting to sprout tail feathers too...they're only a week old!!

My 2 month old girls have been outside during the day for the last 3 days, and they love it. I was debating on whether to take them out today as it is cooler but they need to start getting tough for the outdoors on a permanent basis soon.

Had to halt work on the coop temporarily until I get paid on Friday.
