I love the last picture...the action shot of the one taking a dive over the other one....true baby chick action right there...."DOGPILE!!!"

My humidity started out really high, then in about a day it came down to around normal in about 2 days, and i was able to keep it there only having one of the troughs full of water. im waiting on some more eggs to get here then i will start a new batch. Im going to be setting 10 to 12 Silkie eggs. Hope that hatch is as good as the last I had. When i went to hatch i put a cut up sponge in a bowl with water and had the humidity up to around 80 then I realized I had a pip'd egg and that one hatched that night and was fine , it was the second one that hatched that i had problems with but its completely fine now.POPPACABOT - I am a part of a hatch group that started this past Saturday. I have been reading through this groups hatch posts, and see that you started with 73% humidity like I did the first day. I got it figured out, so now it is between 35% - 45%. I was really worried that I messed things up already with that high humidity. This is my first hatch. It looks like your did GREAT though. Happy to see that.
