Seven to eight week old chicks acting sick. Please help as soon as possible.

8' by 8 feet.(Which I thought was decent. I do hope it's considered that. If not I can start making it bigger if I need to.) There's 22 chicks as of now and there is a head lamp in the corner of it which is around two or so feet off the ground. Room temperature is usually 72 degrees and has an opened window to it when it's not raining. However, I haven't checked what the temperature of the head lamp is. I really should have, but I might've...forgotten to.
Not nearly enough space for that many chicks, of that age. They are about at the age where they need about the amount of space as adults. And they don't need a heat lamp at all any more. Could be a combination of coccidia and overheating that is causing them to die so quickly.

I get that I've not said anything for two days, and I do regret that. Since than, I've been giving them corid and so far most of them have been acting better. The two ones that I originally posted have sadly passed away, even after I'd given them the medicated water.
I have a few more who've been acting sick, they're of course no longer inside the main area. I also no longer have the heatlamp on for the non sick ones. I also intend on expending their area sometime tomorrow.
One of the current sick ones hasn't been willing to eat or drink. So I've been forcing her to drink for the last ~24 or so hours. However, tonight she's been unable to stand by herself. I fear that she's not going to make it, as of this moment.

I'm so sorry you are losing the chicks. Sadly by the time you see Cocci - it can be too late for some. I lost 3, was only able to save 2. The ones I saved, never absolutely refused to drink. I put the Corrid in the water, but then I also moistened some feed with the corrid water, for the really sick ones. I wish you the best!

I am so sorry that you lost the 2 chicks, but glad that you are treating with the Corid. If you have the liquid Corid you can give a drop or two 2-3 times a day to the really weak one. If you have the powder, mix 2 tsp of water to 1 1/2 tsp of the powder, and that will be equal to liquid Corid concentrate. After you finish the 7 days, be sure to give them probiotic plain yogurt in small amounts for a week or so. Vitamins for chicks would also do them good. Hopefully you will not lose any more.
