Post pics of the back in a few weeks, until then, I say pullet.

I'm thinking pullet but you'll know in a few more weeks. At 12 wks could you post full body pics of it, looking for saddle & hackle feathering. If it's a cockerel, you maybe hearing a crow or two around then.

I'm leaning towards cockerel myself. But I don't know if it is because I want it to be a cockerel. This one definitely has me stumped.

FINALLY! This beauty turned out to be a cockerel! He is still not obvious in his comb or feathering, but as I let them out of the coop yesterday morning he stopped halfway down the ramp and crowed! He has a nice tight comb, hardly any wattles, huge matching tufts and nice size. I am going to put him with a few blue hens next spring that are too light in color and do not have the best lacing.
