Just thought I'd post the outcome for the sake of others:
We gave her 1cc of Tylan-50 sub-cutaneously in the breast each morning for a week and a half. We also did the 6:1 Tylan-50 and water nasal flush, and we gave her ~40-50 cc's of water with tetracycline orally each day. We were giving her water anyways so she didn't get totally dehydrated, and we were trying anything to see any improvement. We also used some of the diluted Tylan-50 to flush out her bad eye.
She was inside our laundry room the whole time, not *warm*, but way warmer than outside. She would eat scratch periodically, but never layer pellets. She would eat scrambled eggs chopped up in yogurt but only one a day - overall not much, and I can't imagine that helped her.
At any rate, after a week and a half, the only improvement we had seen was that she no longer had the rales (gurgly breathing), and that happened the third day. Her sinus was still just as swollen and weepy, and her eye was still swollen shut. Meanwhile, the other three hens had zero symptoms. So, my boyfriend cut her head off. Sigh. I feel badly about it, but I couldn't have handled them all getting sick like that.
