I believe a Cream Legbar hen only guarantees a single barred allele (which 100% of her offspring would get), but then if the roo also had even a single barring allele, that guaranteed sex-linkage would 50/50 disappear? But any roo sire with even a single barred allele should always appear cuckoo at minimum??? Phenotypes (appearance) & genotypes (paired and/or influenced alleles) don't always match.

Cream Legbar Hens have just the one barring gene, but it’s sex linked to her sons so you can use them with solid color roosters (the darker the better) to have sex linked chicks; the boys will have the white dot on the head, the girls will not.
