I can't tell all the way because it is so dark in the morning but I think the black one is crowing.
. They r hard to rehome out here in the country..im to softhearted to eat him...dang it! Oh well..i free range the hens part of the day...hopefully he will step up and protect the hens and warm his keepI bought 20 pullets this spring for eggs. I did not want chicks n the future. Having a rooster or cockerel doesn't mean you will have chicks; it just means you can. Collect eggs daily and you'll be fine.![]()
We are not allowed roosters in my area.![]()
Any way you could use a no crow collar or something?
