Sexing 5-6 Week Lavender Orpington & Starlight Green Egger

Official update! Both of these lovely birds have grown into egg laying hens! We are happy.
Hey! I know this is older but I have a question about your Starlight Green Egger. We have a 2 week old SGE chick that we are suspecting is a roo based on behavior. Did yours act more aggressive as a chick, too? It’s always chest bumping the others and rushes up to us when we pick any up.

That's common behavior for males and females, and shouldn't be used to determine sex.

I agree .My Yokma did that when she was young but she grew up to be a girl now laying even my little americana Stella did that but guess what she was a girl. You cannot ausme gender by behavior.
