sexing a pekin

i know i asked the earlier but now my pekin is starting to feather out some... it looks like the tail feather is starting to curl up but i dont know how old he is i got him from tsc as a large pekin... he is about the size of a mallard now

Probably a male does his quack sound horse if so its a boy.

That quack versus horseness is difficult. My pekin is a definite quacker at 7 weeks old. My khakis seem to still be a little horse sounding, not a quack like the Pekin. But the khaki's sure look female. Good luck!
