These chicks were from shipped eggs so I think that may have something to do with it. The coloring is starting to differentiate pretty well though so another month and I think I'll have a pretty good idea. I was thinking it may have been anemic but I've read that their combs can vary in color pretty widely too. My roos usually start crowing around 4-5 months old as well so I'm hoping that it keeps going in the same direction.
My giant ayam roo outside never learned how to laugh while crowing strange enough. He runs around laughing like a maniac and then crows normally haha
