I sold 6 barred rock chicks I got from a hatchery as pullets. The person asked today when she could return them, it's been a week and a half later because 3 are male. They are only just turning 3 weeks, all had head spots and color on the legs the same. How possible is it that they are 3 male? I wonder if she decided not to keep all 6 and figured I would return them. I refuse to except them back because they were sold as hatchery sexed as they were hatchery sexed as pullets, and who knows how they were treated ( illnesses spred to my flock?) also they were sold as duo purpose not just for eggs.

This is what they looked like when I sold them camara flash made them look lighter they are darker:

The birds had the same wings, mostly black not much white. I have 3 that I kept that feather out wing wise the same.

I know this is an old-ish thread, but I'm so glad to read this! It means all my "pullets" are actually girls!!
