Chirping
So vent sexing is apparently really hard, so I e been sitting out with my quail waiting for them to crow. But as I’ve been out there, staring for hours, I noticed the ones I know are female seem to have more fluff by their vents then the ones I know are boys. Pics below. Is this a thing or am I just hoping for an easier solution?
I also noticed some vents are larger, so I’m assuming those ones are the ones already laying eggs.
