I think these are all different birds. They are 4 weeks old. I'm seeing a couple obvious females from this group, but I'm inexperienced and would like some opinions. These are most of my coloured birds, the rest are mostly white/or have all white chests. It's my understanding that white breasted birds are not feather sexable (?). What are these colour patterns called?

This one is unique from the rest. I was hoping she would turn out to be all white. Could she/he be bred to another almost white bird to maybe produce all white offspring? (Sorry the second two pics are out of focus)

I’m with floorcandy about number 6. I can’t really see number 1 and 2 enough to know its mutation but it might be male if its chest rusts up. Numbers 3 and 4 looks like Italians, the others look like wild types/pharaoh. Also it doesn’t bother me heaps because you’re new to this but I thought it might be helpful that within the species Japanese quail there are mutations and not breeds. :)

Great! Thanks!

How do you get the 'tuxedo' mutation... or an 'all white' mutation?

Most of my 'Italians'(?) Look like 'tuxedo's' but with the light colouring, (none pictured). Are they considered Italians or tuxedo's?

I didn't really know at the time what she was talking about but, the girl I bought the chicks from said this was the first time she has hatched the 'wild type' mutation. How does this work?

Wild type is the norm.
All others are variations thrown from wild types.
Depending on genetics and contributions from parents, you will get the spread of colors. Remember high school biology?

If I understand this, everything will eventually revert to wild type coloration without selective breeding. Search some threads. There is a lot of discussion.

Below is a mix. Father is wild type and mother is all white. The spots on the chest tell me this is a hen.
