I don’t know why the picture posted 3 times !!Hi all, a quick update on the chicks:
They are now about 3 weeks old and growing fast!
Here is a picture of the cream legebar - do we all still think cockerel??..

Ok thank you very much - I am exited to see how he turns out!I've never had a legbar cockerel. The females have a salmon colored chest, so I believe you have a male.
Both genders of Legbar have a little crest (tuft of feathers) behind the comb. It's usually more obvious on the females, but the males have a little one too.A plume on the cream legbar cockerels head has started to appear - does this mean that he is a hen after all?
You can start now, depending on how you do the introductions.Also I have another small flock of older hens that are a couple of years old - when can I start introducing my new hens into their area with them?
