You should be able to put them together, i have all different kinds and ages mixed togeather and they are fine, as a matter a fact i think it is a good idea they get use to the fact that some things are little but not a threat as long as your pen is big enough for them to get away from each other they should be fine. my pen is 10 by 30 in an L shape and i have 7 peas from 6 weeks to 5 or 6 months but the older ones are a bit behind in growth because of previous situation they were in before i got them.
I also have guinea keets and some chicks that have been with the peas sence they hatched and all get along just fine. a few more weeks and the chicks and keets will be out of there just waiting till they are all roosting first and not needing the heat lamp on these chilly nights.
Very handsome boy![]()
Sometimes you have to try new things a few times before they will eat them, my peas are very spoiled, if their eggs are scrambled too dry they will hardly touch them and they have to be chopped up too, same with bananas they have to be cut up or they will just walk off and leave them, , but then they will wolf down the biggest grapes, when my red grapes are done barring i buy some green ones and they rubber neck them greens like they were boogers fixing to pounce, once a chicken or guinea takes one then and only then will they eat themThank you!! He's definetly turned into my child... I bought a big head of lettuce for all the birds the other day and he's on strike! The leaves are purple and green and he refuses to eat them if they are remotely purple! Mr. and Mrs. Pea and the chickies don't seem to mind but the wee peas and Sheldon won't touch it!! Spoiled kid!
