The tail feathers do look like roo to me, I would think at 10 weeks it's comb should be showing some red, but may just be my phone or lighting. Brahmas can be tricky. Maybe someone else will chime in and we can get another opinion. I would have to go outside and get another peek at my girl for comparison to feel more confident, but she's sleeping now...lol

thanks when I compare to mine from the same batch the difference. He keeps say it probably something genetic with the color. He just wishes cause he lives in town an can't own a roo. I keep saying it's mine... Here are "his" sisters

here is the top view. I have had Brahmas about a year and a have but no boys. I hope it is a boy so I can adopt him to watch over my flock

The penciling this particular Brahma has is not standard but it's not necessarily uncommon just isn't the stereotypical feather type for SOP. It doesn't help with gender. Only thing that looks possibly male on it to me is the longer tail feathers. Usually male's have longer pointy neck feathers also, tho. The females should also have a dewlap between their waddles. Male's don't. The comb is really throwing me off cuz I have a girl is not quite 12 weeks and hers is redder than yours but may be lighting of pic. And a male should be red by now. There is an older pic of her above you posts. I hope one of our gender experts chime in on this one for you. Honestly from pic with both I'm not sure who is who.

Do you have a side shot of body. From what I'm seeing it's comb is too light for roo and neck feathers aren't long and pointy like a roo. The penciling can make it hard to tell in pics tho

The comb isn't super red but it is quite I bit redder than "his" sisters from the same batch. I haven't heard any attempts to crow yet.
