If a pea is sexlinked can it be split to anything?
My cameo girl came from a cameo cock and bronze hen, so can she be split bronze? also she has white flights and neither of her parents have any white so is she spite white or mabe pied?
The breeder believes her birds to be pure before this bronze cameo mating.

A sexlinked hen can be split to another colour. Because the sexlinked colour is carried only on the male portion of the gene. Your cameo hen is split to bronze. If you bred her to a bronze male, all hens would be bronze, but the males would be bronze split to cameo except they would look like a blue. these male offspring could then be mated to any hen to produce the odd cameo hen again. As for the white flights, they can be passed down from generation to generation without having to have a white parent - it could be great grandparent or great great grandparent or even further up the line. THe only way to really tell if she is carrying the white gene is to breed her to a white male. Technically then you'd get about 50% white offspring.
