Please help and in a hurry. I just found my yearling bronze white eye hen with her left eye terribly swollen, cloudy, and white. Is this the respiratory thing, and what do I treat it with. I have an antibiotic opthamolic ointment and metronidazole. I have liquid Baytril, but it is refrigerated and was opened in September so it might not be good. I am trying not to take my birds to the vet because I have spent ver $4000 in vet bills just in the last six months on the peas. But I have never seen this and don't know what to treat it with. I don't think she can see out of it at all.

For general poultry eye issues, rinsing the affected eye with saline solution and coating it with Terramycin ointment is usually what can help.

Does she have any other symptoms besides just this one eye?

If you don't have any saline solution, you can make your own easily. You can use distilled water or just plain water.
