Sf Bay Area Hatcheries!!!

i live in oakland where are some hatcheries around there??

I don't know of any really close to you, but if you have trouble finding one, you can always use Belt hatchery in Fresno. At least it's relatively close.

I don't have any commercial hatcheries around me but there are a lot of people on Craigslist selling poultry. They are just backyard farmers so you have to be careful as you don't always know what you are getting, but if you are looking to pick up live chicks locally (versus online ordering from one of the commercial hatcheries) that might be a way to go.

There's Metzer Farms but they only do ducks and geese.
