Nothing special to tel after last week from here. No news is good news they say in my country.

Just one black broody. But autumn isn’t the time I like to let a broody sit on fertilised eggs.

I bought this juicer last week to extract juice from the grapes and apples. The thing looked nice, costed only € 40 but wasn’t worth it. Pieces of grapes and apple came in the waste bin. It made an awful mess. Cleaned it and gave it back to the shop.

poor juicer was a blessing in disguise if you follow the current nutrition advice, which is to eat the fruit not squeeze it and just drink the juice.

The grapes and apples are too much and not very tasty to eat as fruit (hard peeles). The juice is a way to conserve most of it.

Now I buy apple juice is the shop. Its a good breakfast drink mixed with yoghurt (not sweet).

I bought a "masticating" juicer, one that doesn't heat up the juice with the speed it spins. I loved it. It was $400, built like a tank. Cleaning the bin where all the solids end up was a royal pain. I still have it, but have used it one time since I got a high speed blender. No more juicing, I make smoothies now.

Robin the Red. I bet she will be the first of this year's chicks to lay. Nobody else has anywhere near the color in comb and wattles as she does.
