The bird has entered my room and is looking up in a attempt to spot the food. I may shoo her out of the door.

I distracted that bird with chicken feed. She went outside and is now sitting under the pomegranate tree. Phew.

What does the name mean? Pardon my ignorance.

Totally different to how I imagined it would be pronounced, but then again, I don't know any Welsh. I was thinking more of a Bet-os kind of sound

Place to pray; it is a place name. I give all my home bred chickens Welsh place names because I name them before I know what gender they are.

Pronunciation varies round the country; the north Walian accent is quite different from the south Walian, for example, and the variation even runs over into spellings sometimes.

I did get home last night but it was late. I walked down to Old Market (the place in the picture in the news link) which is a few mins walk from my flat.
Looked rather strange with most busnesses boarded up.
The main picture in the news link is the bus route for all the buses that head into East Bristol.

Two and a half hours chicken time yesterday. Rather overcast but it stayed dry in the afternoon.

Good to see that Bristol was like elsewhere and the communities coming out in force deterred the tiny minority of yobs and thugs from even showing up.

I grew it for them so I guess it's their chad. My chard is further down the plot under a wire cage.
