wow they sure traveled

I wouldn’t do this in the Netherlands. Over here the 🧚🏽 fairies bring good luck.

Sometimes even a coin.
Like the tooth fairy. If a child lost a milk tooth and puts it under her/his pillow. The tooth fairy exchanges the tooth for a shiny coin (1 or 2 euro).

Lots of fairy tales have good an bad fairies. But it seems we send the bad ones all to Ireland 🤪
we have the same tooth fairy too

thanks - I'll enjoy reading that later. Got to dash now.

Wow. I love cooking but even I really only do a real cook once a week. That is a lot of cooking!
I'm hoping a bit of Bucket Boys obsessive activity will teach me how to enjoy cooking. Currnetly the main lesson learn't is I don't have enough of everything for serious cooking and if I did, I wouldn't have the space to keep it.:D
Sweet potato soup with a 4oz rump steak and salad tonight.

Delicious!

We went to a church gathering today where there was lots of food, so I wasn't really hungry for supper. I microwaved a couple yams (aka sweet potatoes), and ate one with just a drizzle of butter. Num.

No eggs? I thought Mow was laying? When did she stop?
She stopped shortly after the most recent chicks hatched.
What do you think?
If Henry could sort it out with Carbon and Lima and other small hens then just the size of the rooster isn't, or hasn't been for me, a problem.

The age and the manner of the courting and mating has been an issue in the past. Grabbing the neck feathers is fair play in the matting. One has to make a judgement and to do that one needs to know a lot more than one can gather from internet posts in most cases.

Oh, proper stories.:love
A couple of my adult reading books.:D

A lot more fun than scientific papers.

Guess! Yep grey damp and chilly.
We got out for a couple of hours.
Mow, taking no chances.

Got the new tarpaulin on the coop. It's got a reflective underside and last year it made a noticable difference to the warmth and humidity of the coop. It works a bit like poor double glazing.
