How nice. What did you serve up this time?

I was asked to cook egg plant parmigiana so that's what I did. I made a big salad, red bell peppers, avacado, celery, green and black olives, plot grown rocket, local greenhouse grown baby spinach, home made red pesto, chick peas and dressing.
Last night was an improve presentation night so I dragged the table out and set glass ware, napkins etc. Looked rather cozy in the flat if one discounted the state of the kitchen.
No more guest dinners untill next week now.

Those we are talking about are the black ones, without a stripe. They contain more oik and the shell is actually thinner and close to the seed.

The black sunflower seeds are more expensive indeed. One large bag costs € 27,- for 20 kilo’s.

I've been meaning to sort the hard drives out for ages. I had dinner guest last night and was in a bit of a rush. I know the pictures are there somewhere.

I'm under orders. Living like a hermit no matter what I may think about my species isn't an option living city life with family close by; so my family tells me anyway. I was considered pretty much a lost cause ( gone feral ) when I lived in Catalonia and some of my family at least are glad to have me back so to speak.
If my cooking and my health improves that's a result and one never knows, I may even make some new friends.

Nothing wrong when one enjoys their own company.
Besides with covid, rsv, whooping cough and now norovirus it's healthier to stay away from people anyway.

Health and family are important. We do all of our own cooking, from whole foods and it has made a huge difference in our health. I am not really a hermit, because the Egg Thief lives here too, my mother and my oldest son, so I do socialize with humans, when I have to. LOL

I agree but it just isn't reasonable in my current circumstances if I'm to consider those of my family who would like to see more of me and of course, keeping away from people is almost impossible when I travel through the city daily.
