@cfonts Some of you were interested in the law regarding the ban of feral chickens in Hawaii. There is a last urgent attempt to contact the representatives by mail to make them change the text. I'm not sure I'm allowed to post a link of that nature on BYC but if anyone wants it, send me a private message (it has to be done by Tuesday).

Well, since you seem to think it's not a problem, here is the Update with the emails. I will delete it if moderators consider it a problem.
Here is the message I sent. It's probably not perfect English but it can save time to copy and paste.

I am writing to you regarding bill 2195. Banning feral chickens in Hawaii poses many concerns, both environmental, ecological and humane. I find the bill does not address these at all and does not guarantee that the chicken population control will be done through humane methods, and not catching and killing birds. I think the feral chicken population is a wonderful asset to Hawaii and I can not agree with their eradication. I am asking you to withdraw this bill or at the least rewrite it to take human and ecological concerns in account.

Skeksis Jr. appears to be doing well. I'll feel much better about odds of survival at the one week mark though. This little bird definitely has it's mother's intelligent eyes.

Well, two of the babies have very slight scissor beak. Will have inspect the whole brood one by one.

Just two of eight. It's not enough to impact quality of life. Will still make great pets, just not breeding stock.
