This may be a sensitive subject. I couldn't find any translation to understand what you meant by "someone's wake" , would you or anyone agree to rephrase ?

We don't have the equivalent of memorial day, only specific commemorative days of one event.

Wake ~ To keep watch or vigil beside the dead - unless you're Irish, in which case it is more of a social gathering with the dead still in the house & traditionally lots of booze.

Who's helping you lift it onto the legs? Will its floor need support?

My eldest and her husband.
I don't know if it will need support but the base can be adjusted if necessary.

I need reliable people who can manage to lift 30kg to waist height and if necessary, hold it there.

So turns out i won't have to get this scissorbeak chick euthanized. I had recently switched the little ones to a hanging feeder, and didn't notice she was unable to eat from that. She is in the infirmary tub with her one brother that has an injured leg. I put the old feeder in, and now she has a very full crop.



Still need to get the other one's leg checked out, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. My audi has somehow developed a massive coolant leak. Took two $23 jugs of coolant to figure that out.
