Pinecone is obviously a rooster. Both are frizzled like their mom. Just wonder if they will inherit her floppy comb as well.

I tried something new for the chickens today. I took my watering can and watered the soil in the run. They were scared of the watering can, but they sure do like the results! It's a hot day, they are settled on the nice cool, damp dirt.

I got brought a sick hen this evening. She has bumble foot on both feet.
On the worst foot the scab has come off and the wound has healed over leaving the core in place which is now infected and swollen.
I explained what needed to be done but I can't do it myself unless I took the hen for a few days and in my current living circumstances it isn't possible.
The owner took the hen to a vet and all the vet did was prescribe antibiotics.

I've got another sick hen coming on Thursday. From the sound of it she has an ear infection. I can do something about that.

You are probably a better healer for chickens Shadrach, as a vet for cats and dogs.
Can’t you earn a little on the side giving (non-medical) advice? You could ask for a 20 - 40 £ donation to buy some nice equipment and food for the allotment.
