I just want to cry when I see videos like this.

One of the many, many horrific things about this video is that because they had those flaps that opened to the outside, in many parts of the world the eggs from these poor prisioners could be labelled as free range.

To me the worse thing is that there are far more confining ways they are being kept.

She knows her stuff but I'm not sure how useful it would be for you Penny. You've been keeping chickens for a while now and I think you know much of what she writes about. Still, a good chicken book is a good chicken book.

Thank you for the compliment. Most of what I know of birds comes from watching how Grandma then my Dad cared and took care of theirs. Instilling the knowledge in me.
