I couldn't possibly have a rooster called Andre! A boy called Andre stole my first love away, mainly because he drove his parents Range Rover and all I could offer was a pillion seat on an old British motorcycle.

Fair enough. This Andre is also evidently irresistible, particularly to humans. Without fail, people who get to know our chickens call out Andre as their special buddy. I'll even text them Andre photos because he makes them smile.

Can't blame the magnetism on a Range Rover. I've been thinking it's his cute face – or his fluffy feathering and bobbly swagger, or the fact that he doesn't bite people very often – but maybe it's all in the name.

When @Shadrach disappeared for a few days, I realized I look for you all. It's funny because we all know almost nothing about each other, but I still want a little heads up when people plan to take an internet break

At my house, the heart breaker is Katie and like you, I send her photo to her fans to give them a little joy.

My cousin once whispered "look at her yellow legs!" as though yellow legs on chickens were somehow rare and exotic!

So, wait, are they threatening you because you are ill, or are they saying the if others don't pitch in to help? I hope that it is the latter, for your sake and for Henry's tribe.

Either way, focus on getting better! Stress can compound and prolong illness. We are keeping you in our thoughts and sending positive "get well soon" vibes your way.

No, nobody is threatening me. They are sort of fighting amoung themselves.
However, they are getting the job done and people who have had absolutely nothing to do with the chickens or geese are finding out a little about them. This is what I want.
