It is very hard to write a clear and concise article that conveys the fruit of a real research project. (Who was it who apologised for writing a long letter because they didn't have time to write a short one? I can't remember. But I digress...) You have so much knowledge and wisdom to contribute to benefit all of us who live with and care for chickens, it would indeed be a shame to keep that to yourself, as
@RoyalChick says. What we used to do in academia was circulate drafts to people who would read it carefully and find the gaps, flaws, oversights, slips and misses who we called critical friends, and they would enable us to revisit and revise the text before sending it off for inspection by journal editors and referees, who would then do the same coming at it from other perspectives and trajectories, before it was actually published and landed on the shelf to be read by anyone who wished. It's a very useful service friends can provide for one another. I would be happy to serve in such a capacity for you and your articles in draft.
