the chicks are 3 weeks old today, and so far only 1 is colouring up... and watching for threats while everyone else focuses on eats

Cadoc (bottom left) is still hopping along but seems to be improving slowly S/he certainly has no trouble keeping up with the rest.

Dercho came through last night. I was blessed and only casualty is an e net fence post when part of a dead tree came down. I didn't think to take a picture before I cut it up.

Lots of people without power. Roads closed because of trees and power lines down on across an interstate highway. One person was killed when tree fell on their house.

You have some really pretty birds, Perris. I hope we'll be seeing some in the Chicken show, like we did last year

Thanks! quite a few of them are moulting now, but hopefully they'll be sporting some nice new shiny plumage before the deadline arrives!

Glad you came out safely, with so little damage. I always worry about the chickens when storms kick up and Dercho looked to be a biggie..
