… I have one blue-egger, the rest all lay lighter shades of brown. This is the blue-egger on the left. She needs a name! Had her for 2+ years and still remains unnamed.

Not difficult to give her a name. Bluewy would suit her.

Pooh looked in a nest box briefly yesterday. Hopefully she was reminding herself.

I will never buy eggs again, thankfully we have mild seasons here, and always seem to have enough eggs for our needs. All the girls take some time off, but they seem to stagger their vacations.

Henry came into the coop while I was cleaning it out. I think he wanted to go to roost. The hens were still out and after a few seconds checking the coop, he went back out with the hens for a further twenty minutes. While I know how he feels about his sleep he should stay out with the hens while they are on the field. Once they are all back in the run is fine if he's had enough for the day.

I see that Fret is still Fretting whilst underneath Henry who looks tolerantly taken aback with Sylph as passive interested spectator. Hopefully Henry listens to your logic regarding proper fielding duties.
