Signal is excellent.More and more people start using Signal here in the Netherlands. It has better privacy protection and is not a Meta thing. Has no auto-AI tool either.
Works the same as Whatscrap.

https://www.theatlantic.com/politic...-accidentally-texted-me-its-war-plans/682151/Shouldn’t you say : Signal is popular among people who mistrust the people who make an enormous amount of money with big tech? Among people who distrust the super rich who support the politicians who (try to) break down democracy?
I really am feeling like an old fart these days. All this every-increasing complexity to supposedly protect our privacy, and yet everything about us is online somewhere, free or to those with connections for the right price.I was really glad I had Google backup and my old phone.
Yesterday had an issue with my Motorola phone recognizing the unlock pattern.
Solution was to reset.
One way was to turn off and back on holding certain buttons.... needed to unlock to turn off though. So that wasn't an option.
The other way was to go through my Google account and do a factory reset from there, which worked.
But for some reason I had previously set up so I had to have a security code sent to the phone. Either the new phone, which couldn't go through because it wasn't set up yet, or my old phone. I still have the old phone and that worked.
And too make it worse, I think it was either a update or McAfee security software that messed it up. Making things safer, just unusable.I really am feeling like an old fart these days. My reaction whenever Tractor Supply claims they have something in-store that I want, or when the Lowes website states that the item I’m looking for is on Aisle 22, bin 17:And too make it worse, I think it was either a update or McAfee security software that messed it up. Anymore a smartphone is needed for so many things.
Some I don't do, tickets to concerts, sports or airplane, but no paper tickets anymore.
I order my feed online so it's ready to pickup, and they want the order number at one place and the email at another. It's a half hour away for any of the 3 , so I want a full load of 12 bags. Half the time they think they have it but don't.
