I miss the updates from Shad and all news and reactions of the followers.

Over here our garden is exploding with all the rain from last week. Chicken are now on their favourite spot under the overhang where they have a 180° view into the garden.

Trying to catch, and possibly dissuade an egg-eater. I'm hoping the strong mustard inside this egg will teach them not to eat eggs.

A second pullet began laying today; don’t know whether it was the BO or BR. I think one of my greatest fears at this stage was that an egg would get (accidentally) broken, they’d discover the delicious contents, and off we’d go. The EE had a few shell-less eggs while getting up to speed, but they hadn’t been disturbed.
