Finally found a picture of her. Maybe she had pearl eyes after all. I lost her due to a freak accident. You know how it goes in the chicken world with our favorite birds.

This is Pom Pom, survivor of flystrike! I know this kind of red eye is common due to
Its dominant trait… but it’s so pretty!

She definitely resembles a t-rex with that pose.

She does have the thickest outer ring.

I think I have an offspring from Casanova and the pearl eyed EE or it could have been a different hen, I’ll check her eyes tomorrow, I know they are a light color but can’t remember how light, she isn’t a very tame hen but is a very good mouse hunter.

Pearl Eyes are recessive. But even being split will show alittle pearl leakage under the main color.

lol! She is one of my breeder meat birds and I love her! Everyone said to euthanize her when the infection happened but we didn’t, she survived, and now she acts like a T-Rex whenever she sees treats!
