**SHARE YOUR MOST UNIQUE CHICKEN NAME**

The most unique names I have are:

Fruit loop, a partridge silkie hen (best broody)

Biscuit, another partridge silkie hen

Pickpocket, aka Pick, a brahma hen

Edgar, my dark brahma roo

Derby, a dark brahma hen (she hatched during the Kentucky Derby)

I had a hen named Eggatha. I currently have a boby JG roo that is named Arnold Schwartzen-egger. I also had a roo named Peter. That may not sound like a strange name. But think about it - a cock named Peter. It wasn't intentional, but somebody brought to my attention after he was already named.

My buff orp is Golda. She was the first to lay an egg....on Christmas Eve! My mom remarked, "leave it to the Jewish hen to lay an egg on Christmas Eve!!" I thought that was pretty funny!! I call her Golda Maria now...

Our 7 year old daughter named our girls....

Doughnut
Cookie
Angel
and then our two 'twin' Japanese bantams were named after her identical twin teachers (seriously - they both work at the same school and were her 1st and 2nd grade teachers)

Kim and Karen

I'm trying not to name my chickens (plan was to have dual purpose. I don't think that is gonna happen now) DD named one of our EE 'Hershey's with almonds'. You can imagine the color. We have a buff that I named Maude (on the 'All in the Family' show and 'Golden Girls') She is loud and bossy! And a buff roo named 'Rooster Booster' have 19 more to name.

You all have some creativeness! Me...not much. The most unique name for one of my chickens is Doodoo (we had a major pasty butt issue with her when she was tiny).
