My partridge Showgirl was named Miss Ross for a few weeks. Now his name is Kanye, which is really unfortunate since the cockeral has better manners than Mr. Kanye West does!

Prince Charming and Paloma were our two white Japanese Bantams from last year. (They were favorites of mine. We used to let them walk freely in the yard, but sadly, a hawk got them.)

My avatar bird is Igor who has a fully bantam counterpart we've named Min-Igor.

Here's my two newest Silkie pullets. I'm still having trouble telling them apart, so the Accountant in me is calling them Debit & Credit. That way, I'll always know which is which - you know - "Debit's on the Left; Credit's on the Right"!

Spring, my Buff Orpington with white legs.

Summer, my Buff Orpington with yellow legs.

Fall, my Blue Cochin who is a lighter blue.

Winter, my Blue Cochin who is a darker blue.

They were all raised together and the Buff Orpingtons are one day older then the Blue Cochins. They are all eight months old.

I don't name all my chickens, just the ones I can easily tell apart. My favorite pullet's name is Sunbeam and it suits her to a tee. Another is named Chipmunk. The rest not so original.
