Aren't the barred ones black with a spot on their widdle heads?
Yah but they're barred crossed with solid roo which means barred= boy and solid = girl. The spot thing DOES NOT WORK on my chicks LOL!!! Mine crowed at me
. Brindle I will eat all kinds of fabulous englishness like bangers and mash, pork pies, scotch eggs, fish and chips, etc... ooooh I love to eat in England. Flip side I am so sorry about your dog.
I need to go pay the amish and drop off the window. I can't WAIT for the next coop!!!!
AND MY FLIPPIN contractor finally showed back up and started to finish the siding!!!! WOOT! Dam I need to post some updated pics.
Ok, four of yours are out. Even one of the wax eggs. And 2 have white spots on the head, 2 don't. One has obvious white tips on wings. Others do not. Cute babies!
So far I have 4 BR/EE mix, on of Nat's mixes, and one silkie. I still have one more BR/EE pipped (another wax egg), and Nat's other mix which has been struggling for hours to zip. I finally took it out and peeled away some shell and put it back with the others. It is peeping loudly but doesn't seem strong enough to open the shell, even with the help. It didn't bleed really, so I think it's ready. If it would just stretch really well it could be out of that shell I think.
So not too bad considering that the last 5 days before lockdown I left them pretty much on their own. Son did the best he could but only turn 2x a day due to his 12 hour work schedule that week. Just hoping for this little struggler to make it and for the last pip to pop.
