ok have a small rant today...

SO SIL owns this new restaurant..getting busier by the day...She's been asking me to help and I do when I can for free no biggie work on tips basically. Well she asked me if she could bring her DD and My dd to dish dog it all day ( every weekend they do) I said sure! So I took a shower and got dressed up a tiny bit to waitress-if and only if she needed me to jump in.. MInd you last Sat she asked If I could way to laate and I couldnt and she got slammed-so I helped on Sun. So I asked her last night while she was at my house drinking a beer-hey do you need me for a few hours tomorrow? She says no..I think I should be fine. hmm ok I thought. So I show up today and shes acting really weird. She's busy of course so I jump behind the counters and start cleaning up all the messes making coffee and such. Then I see a girl walk in who jumped in to help her a few weeks ago. She looked at me funny and I looked at her funny and went straight to the kitchen and asked SIL " hey is so and so waitressing for you today?" She looked at me like a frikking deer in head lights-"yes she is !" I looked at her and said oh ok Ill stop what Im doing then-see yah later. and I walked out and went home FUMING. COme on folks seriously she couldnt have been honest last night in my own house to say no Im all set because I have so and so coming in?? just really crappy to do is all..Last Sun I cancelled my Xcountry skiiing trip to bail her out. whatever

yah guys thats what I thought. now Im not going to carry my anger on beyond today-its not in me and I dont need the drama. but I get up to take both our DD's 10 miles away to work for her and to help her if needed and felt really hurt she wasnt upfront with me. She said" Yes she is going to be helping on Sat's"! I said nothing as I was walking out... then said she needed someone for Sunday -I said "ask her!"... "I have plans to go Xcountry skiing and Im not breaking my plans again". I said from the begining I wont be on a schedule but will help out when I can-so I understand why she asked someone to be a permanent fixture for that shift-I get that much but to lie by ommision truly ticks me off beyond words I would never do that to someone-this is DH's sis and some of you met her. Shes a sweetie but ahhh she learned to act that way from her mom-ignore-deny-ommit...just be up front I wouldnt have been mad...

If it's anything like John's, I hear ya! Had one of his cops covering an accident scene and a van came around the corner and hit his cop car into the other accident! Took him to the hospital with his back hurting!
