Well I got my misters in the mail today, and hooked one up and it works well. It's about 3 feet high and shaped like a coil. I am going to put the two of them facing the waterer, this way anyone that comes to drink can stay and get cool if they're smart enough!
I qualified for a new cell phone that I got today. So for the next few weeks I'll be learning how to use it, LOL
Talk about wierd chicken illnesses, some of the horses here are colicking, seems like the weather is making alot of them colic. My friend's horse did and ended up at a clinic not far from Nava in Ocala. He got better. Then her friend's horse colicked bad, and got better at the clinic. They don't keep their horses together. A few at the barn too. The theory is that it's the heat and they may not drink enough. Someone also said that the barn has started putting chlorine in the water-by way of a liitle piece of pool chlorinator tablets. Well if that's the case, I don't think it's safe, so I will be taking my pool water test strips and see what's up. I know most of us see chickens drink out of mud puddles, but funny thing is that they all come running when I'm putting fresh water out!
MARY MARY, glad to hear from you . I hope you can stop in a little more and chat!
