i have 3 coffee makers plus a 42 cup maker...brindle you wont be wo ur coffee n i have a feeling we will all need that much sunday morning!!

My Orp Natalie (rip) did not have much of a tail. And her feathers were real poofy making her look big like a JG. And my other Orp, Clarence, doesn't really have much of a tail yet either, and he's almost 6 months old. I think he may need to go bye-bye. He's been raping the little silkies, I chase him away, and he comes right back for more. Makes me want to scream. Today there was a hen standing right next to me and he jumped her, and I grabbed him by the feathers on his back. Are most roosters like this? I guess I've been blessed with some good roos in the last 3 years, and I have 2 good ones now, plus the rapist.

It really really really needs to cool off here. It's been 94-95 here for weeks. I am sooo tired of dunking overheated chickens, running the hose all day so they have puddles to stand in to cool off, making sure no one's dying. They haven't gotten friendly with the mister yet, but tomorrow they will. They have to stay in the pen cause I work tomorrow night.
