Ok I need the help of all my buds. I have this duck, sweet little (well BIG) white crested duck hen that I hatched, I fear she may be a little over weight, but she started limping. It doesnt look like bumble, her "ankle" as much as a duck can have an ankle swelled to beat the band. I think she sprained it the other day when her and the other ducks were playing keep away with the chickens (one found a frog, which started the rugby match). So do i cast it with vet wrap and put her back out? Not cast it. Just kennel her? Any ideas? Right now she doesnt want to weight bear on it.

Maybe I can give my local vet to give me metacam for her. I had some for the rooster that limped but I chucked it because we were not sure if he was infectious. Obviously trying to avoid cross contamination. Unfortunately he wasnt infectious (or fortunately depending on how you look at it).

Totally agree---hate putting birds alone but in this case I would:-(

Put her and her sister and the little call duck in a small pen, gave her the metcam. Jack agrees it's not bumble. He says she'll be fine. So she's in the pen with her sister who was having an absolute conniption over being seperated from her.
