I'm toying with the idea of the $100 unit they sell. but do I really need a 4th incubator? (one of mine holds 3 eggs- great for school) but then I'd have to fill it, and fill it, and fill it. sometimes it's hard to stop.

oooh I knowwwww....I have 12 silkies in now and when it empties I have another 40+ going in---I know I know but this is the last batch of the year-why not go out with a bang? hahaha

Anyone else drooling over that rcom 50? Double R has it for $689. It seems like more companies are carrying them recently.

I saw on Brent's website that he has these available all the time for a decent price. I think I might have to get some in the spring as well! Very pretty birds.

oooh all year?? THATS GOOD TO KNOW I only do eggs in Fall and Winter-some Spring but thats it-Then I let the troops out for a fun Summer of free ranging and trashing their feathers and lots of broodiness!!!!

Kelar silkie hatch update

8 out and healthy. 1W 1Bl ?3 buff, 3 ?partridge?

The white has a huge head vault.

5 dead in shell, fully formed

- 4 white looking

1 W was still alive in shell, helped out but is very weak so not holding out much hope there.
