Great minds think alike! ha ha How's DD today? Awake yet?

:) shes going to docs today-I havent seen her this sick in years-Normally its a cough or something that lasts a day or so enough to stay home but this time wow!!! none of the medicine is helping her it seems

Uggggh, Hate that! My DD is little, very unlike DH and I, 5'1 and 100lbs at 19yrs old. When she's sick, it's like she 7 again, just curls up and snuggles. Feel so bad when there's not much you can do!

I know after I give her meds she is still so bad sounding it really doesnt look like it helps at all but it has to be doing something:-(

Where's Bob? Did he go looking at houses? I wasn't on much last night. Dread this rain that's coming, they said 3 inches, better than snow I guess!

Hey Bob!

Are your kids excited about the move? We keep talking retirement property and our DD (19) said to make sure there's room for her as long as she has no SO. We're like the 3 musketeers. It's strange to me only because I got engaged on my 19th bday and she's happy to be hangin' with us! I had 3 siblings and she only has us so maybe that's why, it's too easy here I guess!

biggest battle is going to be with my mom...had 3 phone calls from her last night in a forty minute span....don't think she retained a thing we talked about the week she stayed here...think I'm going to run up to her place this week and find her dr.'s phone number...something has to give with her...she was bombed last night...when she is with me I kinda control how much she drinks...my youngest daughter must have overheard my wife and I talking about moving in with us...brought it up at dinner last night...said OMG all she does is as me the same questions all day....had to explain what is going on with grams

Seems like she's going to need some help soon, from what you've indicated. It's tough watching parents get older I guess.

Unfortunately I probably won't see it. My mom is in SC with 2 of my siblings and my dad died of colon cancer at 67.

It'll teach your kids alot if she does move with you, they won't recognize it now probably but later in life I'm sure! And you probably won't have peace of mind if she's not close by either.

I'm an only child and we have not seen my dad in over 15 years...mom has been on her own since I was 2....shoot I lost sleep thinking about her last night...wife didn't share with me that mom had also overflowed the coffee maker the first to days she was here while I was out hunting....kept forgetting to put a filter in...entire counters were covered with coffee...she has not been responsive when I have brought up moving in with me...hopefully I can get her doc to assist...she was writing my oldest son a check for his b-day and asks me what year is it 1990...They might have to put her and me on meds!!!

Man, that's a tough one! Even if the Dr. does tell her she needs to be with you, will she remember it? Sounds like short term memory problems.

I thinks it's worse on you than mom too, she just doesn't remember and you can't forget!
