But I'm serious about Nat selling her the silkie eggs. She clearly wants them very much more than me, so she should have them. I'm trying to keep her kids safe.

We spent a lot of time at stonehenge. Been there before they fixed it up and then a few years ago. Was more interested in the geology and the source rocks, though. I guess geologists like the rocks. Lots of other really cool neolithic sites around there, too. Are you going to see any of the giant chalk figures?

I knew a guy that researched trying to predict earthquakes. He ended up in Mexico City the night before the huge one hit back in the 70s, I think, maybe early 80s? All his instruments were still packed in his truck when it hit in the middle of the night. He said their beds were running around the room playing bumper cars and you could watch the walls flex in and out. He got the scare of his life and didn't get squat for data. He gave up chasing earthquakes the next day and now teaches at UT.
You know, it was really too bad he quit doing that. He must have been pretty good to have been there when he was!
