I can try to convince DH to make smaller ones. He has made some that are about half sized, and only weigh 10-15 lbs, but as yet I haven't managed to get them any smaller than that!

I would love to have 3 to 5 to hang over the aquarium corner of the living room.

My DH is a jack-of-all trades so the welding and cutting part are all set. I myself am a bit on the crafty side. Looks like the fish have been completely perfected, so the pattern would save me the trial and error time of making them "work".

They really are SUPER cute!!

These aren't flat. They bottom 2 sets of fins are wide.

I drew these up a long time ago for DH, so he may still have a pattern. I can ask. Can your DH mill aluminum? John has to mill the aluminum mounts that go into the poles.

Will be happy to supply you with whatever I can, provided my DH actually has something I can supply you with!

Uh, like how big would the "special sized" ones need to be?

You know I'm kidding right?

Do you ever ship birds?

I had 2 beautiful pullets from Webb Acres that I hatched early fall of last year, but they did not make it this winter. It was my fault completely. We had a serious cold snap and I thought they were adequately protected, but they turned out not to be. The cochins in the same pen were fine. I don't get it, but this year we have a different set up for the silkies as they seem to not be as cold hardy as I had thought. I felt SOOOO bad! My DH snapped at me at first saying, "I told you they needed more insulation". Then when I started bawling he felt bad and said, "Well, this was a lessoned learned, we know we have to do something better for them next winter." Thank goodness he was sweet about it.
