Cool! Do you feed them extra to get double yolks?

If they figure that one out you'll be getting doubles all the time because they won't want the smorgasbord to stop!

I will have to give that cake a try when I have lots of time, seems very detail oriented. I really like cooking (so does hubby but he does the food network type of cooking- he has to premeasure everything and use tons of dishes- he's not washing them) ha!

me, I'm a 1-2 dish girl, wash as you go.
I have one son that cooks great and can make most anything at age 9, the other10, will starve if he has to make something to eat if it doesn't come out of a box.

Usually to end up with an exceptional end product that looks professional you need to pay attention to the details when you bake.

My older sister is like your older son. Pretty much doesn't cook.

I did not realize that pre-made cake mixes came in a box until we moved to the US.

And they always taste like they came from a box! The texture isn't the same, either. It must be a horrible American thing. I haven't seen cake mixes in the grocery store overseas, come to think of it. But there is always that funky custard mix!

LOVE that funky custard, but not from the pre mixed mix with tons of sugar.
The Birds powder plus a little sugar and milk: scrumptiolicious.

Also on the kids cooking. I was just making omelets for brunch (what else to get rid of all those eggs) and DS said he didn't want an omelete and could he make scrambled eggs (just the way he likes it) and with no fuss got on with it. Gotta love it.

And Nate WOO WHOO for double yolkers!! Thank you sooooooooo much. This is so exciting!! More the merrier!!!
Will share all the imaging/3D modeling with you guys when it is done of course. And don't forget to send that invoice PLEASE.

Thought I would share some of my peackick pickies

PHAGE! Where did you get those chick waterers! I've been looking for those and the only ones I have found were on ebay and in AUSTRALIA, for heaven's sake.

I really would like some the guys can't sit on and poop in the water!

oh, and pretty little peapers!

I hear you! Got them from a feed store a bit north of me. Only went there once as they were SO grumpy. Do you want me to get some and send to you? They are smaller than the usual waterers, but ideal for chicks.

Oh. My. God.

Guiness and COKE!!!!!????? That is beer perversion! I've had shandies before, but that takes the cake.
I do like radlers - german beer and lemon sprudel. Really good.

I prefer german beers, though I will do a Bass now and again. Wheat beer is probably my favorite. With a wedge of lemon! Great for hot weather! A good Paulaner hefe weizen and lemon will take take the cake!

Ever had a Berliner Weisse?
