They are huge!!!! not the chick size we thought we were getting-they are all nice an comphy in the new pens my DH finished yesterday

WE relaxed had some coctails and a big spaghetti-sausage and meatball dinner-Brindle's meatballs were to die for!!!!

Hey guys!

This is Brindlebtch.

I'm sitting here with a cold mf d'uccles chick in my shirt. It got a little wet in the water dish and it was an emergency! Pretty chilly! Lots of nice nice birds.

The "chicks" we picked up wouldn't fit into the cage I brought for them! They are pretty darn big! We ended up doing a really quick re-pack on the car and splitting them up between 2 24" x 36" dog crates that live in the back of the car. The chicks were far smaller than the grown birds, but almost the size of a couple of my grown hens! Very sweet and quiet and good travelers and, of course, very pretty.

LOL thats at night! haha--Big Meds its Natalie-expect me to be in contact with you abotu the birds and what I need to do to maintain their lines...I do NOT want to mess anyting up-so I will be taking photos for you and asking many questions-you can breed through me with photos! Im going to need help with these guys as I am familair with the breed but not what needs to be done to improve or cull out when its needed. I am NOT going to have a big flock of these gals but enough to keep them and me happy and make you proud

Big Med, If your still about....could you tell me if the cockerels vs. the pullets feather in differently in Brahmas??? I only have these two chicks and I'm dying to know what I have. Size and legs are similar. One has had feathers coming in over its shoulders for about 5 days now, while the other has none yet. They are 2 weeks and 3 days old. Thanks, Clare

Ok Nat doesn't know I'm up here on the net, she had a relatively low turn out compared to how many were supposed to come. It's become a t-shirt problem. She has a ton of left over t-shirts that we really need to sell. They are 20 a piece and I can ship them in a small flat rate box that cost 4.85. Total cost would be 24.85 and I have med, lg and xl available. Are any of my sharks up for it??? I'd love to clear them out for Nat please PM me if you're interested. I can bulk ship them for 10.20 and could a ton in one box so please if anyones interested let me know.. oh and BTW aces... you won some cool stuff!!!!
