Hey Nat thanks for the info on ivermectin.

It looks like Lyons do not do the rcom 50.

I have the standard rcom 20, the pro 20 and the pro usb 20. They all function just the same. The basic model does all you need as long as you can count to 21! I would not pay for anything more than the basic model (actually I didn't - got the pro usb for the basic model price, and that was matched price with the lowest price I found on line!!!)
This what I found on line tonight:
http://www.poultrysupply.com/rcom.html $799 for the pro
http://www.jmtdistributors.com/r-com-50-digital-egg-incubator-quot-coming-soonqu50.html $739 for the basic

If you have a 240 V outlet (washing machine or oven maybe) then getting it from England may be a viable option as the difference is huge, and you don't pay tax (VAT) :

basic - 267 pounds = $429
pro- 373 pounds = $599
http://www.rcomincubators.com/

And put them BLRW eggs under that broodie!!! I have hatched first week pullet eggs.

Just catching up!

Nat - Congrats on the BLRW pullet eggs!

Those first eggs are always such a thrill! And best of luck at the craft sale. I hope you sell all the eggs and jams! AND best of luck with 7 screaming girls. Better you than me.

Phage - If the sharks want Flower Chickens we need to pick someone to keep them and then start a shark fund, or something, with somebody's paypal acct. They are really lovely chickens. I would make a donation, but personally I am eyeing Buff Laced Brahmas. Also I'm not real keen on those folks.

acid - dang car!

wthchristi - you know you need those Bad Azz silkies! You know you do. Tell DH you're doing it because you promised your child! enableenableenable..................
