Nat- so sorry to hear about your hen.

All of you with ice be careful! We are getting snow here with 30mph winds. Brrrrr. I don't know how you guys with this type of weather (all winter long) do it. Ugh!

Brin be careful. Texas drivers are the worst when the weather is bad. My hubby is from Texas, in fact we were down there this weekend, beautiful weather!

Acid I hate when they hatch but just don't grow.

Momma I am a little disappointed that neither you or Acid commented on the Vera posted in the byc auctions.

Wife was determined she was going into the office this morning, so standing in the garage I ask her once she was past my truck to hit her brakes, just for grins. After she slide about halfway down our level driveway, she backed back into the garage and said maybe later.

Getting down to the coop was an adventure. Sidewalks are all solid ice, thought I would just walk on the snow. Wrong, had a thick coat of ice on that would not break through, so just as slick but all uneven from all the human and dog tracks. Luckily had the wood ash and cinder to spread in front of me as I crept down the sidewalk or never would have made it, upright anyway.

The forecast does not sound good. Just glad I don't have eggs or chicks under heat.

All things in good time, never had a worry. Just add food, and water, given time and these guys will pretty much take care of the rest. Good job.
